Capacity enhancement of CFUGs
NCDC organized a 3 days of training for the Chairpersons and the members of the Community Forestry User Group (CFUGs) from RSDP project area in Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel from Dec 27 – 29, 2022. A total of 20 members of four different CFUGs attended the training and out of whom 6 participants were female and 14 participants were male. The training participants were selected by the respective CFUGs. The main aim of the training was to develop the capacity of the CFUGs for different forest-related agendas. The training covered wider topics including the general importance of forests, Forest Act and Regulations, Gender in Forestry, FECOFUN and CFUGs, NTFPs, etc.
